I was a grump this weekend. More specifically, I was a grump yesterday. Why, you ask? Because I was sick again and couldn’t workout. That’s why. I felt mostly better on Friday so I thought I had skated by the cold… on Saturday morning I woke up and realized the cold had come back full force — which meant I was going to skip another workout in hopes of feeling better. By Sunday, I had gained a little bit of weight from skipping the workouts on Thursday and Saturday and was feeling annoyed. On Sunday night, I went to bed with the a “screw you, cold!” attitude and decided that unless I was feelings insanely terrible, I would resume normal workouts this morning. To my intense surprise, my body cooperated with my mind and felt almost completely normal this morning. YES. I did my advance camp boot camp workout before school this morning and rocked it. After school, I went to the gym and pushed it hard for 30 minutes more of cardio and an ab workout. It felt awesome! I guess that means I’m addicted. Who would have thought? Me — addicted to exercise. Ha!
